Author Topic: Blender 2.54 beta?  (Read 895 times)

So has anyone been using Blender 2.54?
Haven't had enough time to actually start using it(A few secs, the program wasn't open that long), but compared to the previous version and this version, the layout is much nicer and more organized, and the design makes it look more professional.
Any comments anyone?

Oh and if you want it, here's the download link! :D

I'm kinda pissed off that they had to re-organize everything and change a lot of the buttons. I like a lot of the new stuff like smoke simulation and the fact that you can key-bind anything.. but why move everything around??

Haven't tried it until now.

It looks really nice, but I don't really like learning the locations of things again :/

Good thing I have a mac darkstar, also blender is better how it was  :cookieMonster:

I didn't really have time to look around with the program, so what basic stuff did they move?

They re-arranged the order of a lot of the panels and buttons, and moved some panels to different categories. They also changed the icon pictures so that you wouldn't be able to find anything at all.

Didn't they also invert the ctrl/shift move mouse wheel things?

Aw stuff-with the files moved around, I have no idea where to install the torque DTS exporter. This is forgeted up
