Author Topic: Nvidia GTX 460 requirements?  (Read 1319 times)

My CPU seems to work great for me [I have a quad core AMD Phenom, and 3 Gigabytes of ram] but video rendering and memory is the largest problem i have.
But i got help from a technician in my town, he said that i should probably be able to have it, seeing as i have more than the minimum requirements.

GTX 460 is helluva lot better than a GeForce 8800GT. It can run Crysis on High, without a doubt if you have the right CPU, Power supply, and processor.

I have a good processor to run FSX, but with a better graphics card, i can put all the settings on high and stuff.

If you can run Crysis on high.

You can run alot of games on high.

True.
And also good FPS :D

Indeed.

I plan on building my own computer, using a Nvidia GTX 460 graphics card also.

All you need is enough power from your power supply to run it. If your CPU is something like a pentium 3 though don't expect to be running any good games just because you got a good GPU.

Yes, I almost made the mistake of buying a card that my power-supply couldn't even handle, so this part is important.

Well, the 470 is great but It uses a hell of a lot of wattage and noise.
