I have yet another timelapse, and this is just a sample so far.
I used an online webcam that updates every 30 seconds.

14 FPS at a rate of 7 minutes per second.

Taken last Friday, Oct 1, 17:34:54-19:08:32

Timelapse: A day in New York City

I dont get it, but cool.

If you know any other webcams with an update of 30 seconds or less, tell me about it.

Ah I see now.
Oh what do you see? Hmmm, I see some cars, some buildings. Oh I get it!

I just noticed, but try watching it in fullscreen + 720p

Nice. Now do one of Times Square.

Do you use a certain program to do this?

Oh my god that's cool.

Do you use a certain program to do this?
1. Convert recorded photos into one-frame MPGs
2. Combine all the one-frame MPGs into a complete video.

One thing I didn't mention:
The cruise ship at 0:04 is the same one from here

It's mostly used through Linux commands, most notably ImageMagick to convert JPGs -> MPGs and then ffmpeg to string MPGs together, and also involves looping through numbers.

Stringing all 105 MPGs together takes less than a second. So, I'm giving the finger to expensive video editing software.
