Author Topic: What if the world was infinite.  (Read 6082 times)

The world would be a very lonely place to be.

At least we'll have a place to put trash

At least we'll have a place to put trash
"Look at all this trash...
I don't want to journey THAT far to throw it away...
LET'S DUMP IT ALL IN THE OCEAN! :D"

How would the police find bodies if you take them out that far?
How would they find the body in THIS world if you took it to the other side of the world?

How would they find the body in THIS world if you took it to the other side of the world?
There wouldn't be an "other side" if the world were infinite.

When someone completely roasted one area... they'd walk a few billion miles to the next.

Logical anomallies abound in an infinite world :/

I mean, it pretty much breaks our entire understanding of physics. How would gravity work? And if gravity changes, that would have an effect on...well, nearly everything else.

And on what grounds would it be infinite? Are we just saying "infinite" and asking no questions, or are we following Einstein's folded plane theory? I'll elaborate on that if asked.

And what of the origin of species? And for that matter, how would the world/universe have formed? What about the sun? Would we still have day and night if there was no round surface for the sun to vanish behind? Would there be oceans?

Mind=completely forgeted.

I can see foreverrrrrr

I talked about this to a few of my friends the other day.
For about 30 seconds.

We move between conversations quickly.

I would hunt pigs and dig holes in the-

forget.

Good points, but key to the topic is "What if".
In that case anything is possible. Gravity and other forces would work to suit the criteria presented. But idk how the sun would work.

A sun that constantly goes on/off?
