Geek = Good
Nerd = Bad

Most people on Blockland are not geeks...most are semi-geeks :-) Anyway, try and have an intelligent conversation with some of the love-crazed players with the higher IDs (Not ID racism...just the truth).

geeks are dungeons and dragons players.

im more of a nerd

im more of a nerd
I prefer HIP

Highly Intelectual Person (whos dad can beat up your dad)

I'm neither a geek nor a nerd.

We were doing a practice test in computers, and I mostly answered the questions. Because it was on the overhead and the teacher was asking whats this, that, etc

Everyone stared at me for knowing half of it :c

I've got 50 gigs of RAM in my car.

I agree with Kalphiter.  Being a geek isn't as simple as you think; furthermore, it is a title that you usually acquire at a fairly young age without knolwedge of this acquisition.

Also, the OP spelled "hypothesis" incorrectly.  If you're going to use that word, at least spell it correctly.  If you don't know how to spell it, look it up.
Being a geek mean you must fit following purposes:
-You like school
-You do nothing else than computer in your freetime
-You probably get bullied at school

No
Im just totally awesome.

The words have pretty elastic definitions.
Here are my personal ones:

Nerd: someone who knows about something, and talks as if they know everything about it but does not know how said object/concept fundamentally works.  They talk about this subject whether people want to hear it or not, and often push their way into conversations.  Nerds are also typically (or stereotypically) antisocial and rejected.

Geek: someone who knows about something to a very fundamental level and who discusses (I ea, has a a debate or intelligent conversation about) this subject only among his fellow geek-like peers.  Geeks are generally sociable, and have a well-formed group of extremely diverse friends, which often share a common talent or goal.
You're a geek because you knew this stuff and bothered to type it.

That means that I am not a geek. Yay.

I'm not a geek. O.o
