Author Topic: 1920$ every year doing almost nothing at age 13 YES PLEASE!  (Read 2033 times)

My dad is an odd fellow, he once slept with a cold marshmallow.

So that's how to begin something with a rhyme, Anyway my dad gives me 5 dollars every school day for lunch, and 15 every week in allowance, ever week that is 40 dollars, 40 x 4 = 1920

If I save up for 3 years I could but a great computer, if I save up for 5 years I could buy an alright car...

What should I do?

11 months later, you were born.

If you saved for 6-7 months you could buy a good computer.

So, to get a computer, you have to go hungry
Makes sense

Does he give you lunch money every weekday during the summer? If not, you're at something more like 1400.

And seriously? You do not need to spend $6K to get a great computer. Stop shopping Alienware.

Also his math, for you confused people.
40x4=160
160x12=1920

Get a car dumbstuff. You'll be pretty cool guy.

that is assuming you just went broke for 3 years.

you are better off getting a crappy job

15 (unless you plan to never eat lunch for another three years) x 52.178571 = $782.69 per year.
782.69 x 3 = $2348.04 every 3 years.

I used to save up lunch money since I never ate lunch at school.
But now my parents send $100 checks, so I can't do that anymore. :c

It's easy to skip lunch. Was for me, anyway. Eat a bit larger breakfast and find something to do during that time. I think saving an extra $20 or so a week was worth it.

Lol I remember thinking like this when I was 13.
I'm glad I am not stupid any more.
