Why is blockland so slow?

Ok,i was on a server and then it timed out,so i started my own server but it was so slow when i was playing!!I don't know what happen.so i restarted blockland and it's still slow.it might be my internet but web browsing is still fast.its even slow in single player!!!I did get this message about it not being able to connect to the master server before it started to be slow.please help.

(sorry for quadruple post)ok,i restarted blockland and I am now joining a server with no lag.I will then try to make a server latter to see what happens.

great,if i dont make a server then there is no slowness,but when i do it will slow down blockland untill you resetart it.any help?

Define 'slow', you're constantly lagging, it seems like the timescale is low, or what?

2 gb
320 HD
32 bit
windows vista service pack 1
and i have a NVIDIA graphics card on board but i don't know what kind it is.
and it choppy slow when i make my own server.

no,but the thing is.It used to run fine when i made a server but now it's really choppy.And it started after I got off a server that timed out. :(
