Starting a server

For some reason, I cannot start a server. Whenever I do this, it takes me to the loading screen. Then it starts to lag.
The loading bar goes at an unreasonably slow pace, and my cursor lags around too. This does not happen upon joining someone else's server. Help?

i never knew that numbers were now used in words, care to explain what that new word is? you should define it before using it

also, i used to have a ton of addons (almost each one that came out, that was reasonably decent and i could see myself using, which was almost all), and it slowed down the speed of BL for creating a server and also starting up blockland
