CS:S can be really ragey, it can feel like you are constantly getting 1 hit headshot and it can also feel like your bullets are doing less than 20% damage (the reason behind that is that they likely are doing around 20-40 if you aren't hitting the upper torso or head), and it can also feel like bullets are being spit out at a 5 degree angle from the muzzle of the gun. The reason behind that is because when you jump bullets decide to go mostly sideways instead of forward and it's likely you will get 1-4 hits on his limbs if you are aiming at his chest point blank while jumping.
However, if you are naturally good at it or play enough to get good, it can be a pretty decent game. There are some pretty fun modded servers if you ever get bored with regular games. Also it comes with some Gmod props almost necessary if you plan to go to other people's servers.
TF2 is class-based and has high health amounts, so at least you have a chance to react before you get shot. There won't be any decrease in accuracy while jumping or running and only the head hitbox is one with increased damage (only on certain weapons too, sniper + spy) so bullet damage is relatively consistent. If you're team sucks, it's likely that they will bring you down but a lot of people really don't care about winning or losing the round, but more getting a good score and few deaths.
I've been playing TF2 for a few years and I still play it today.
