Carolcat. No one knows what the arena looks like except you. No one knows how this game works except you. Give some more detail before i stab you.
Detailllsss. They are requireeedddd.
Ok, ok, ok. No need to make threats XD
The two sides are completely symmetrical, but team 2's side is reversed from team 1's to put a twist on the game. There are 2 recharge stations in each team's base, one on front and back. The Red(team 1) Base is in the far LEFT corner of the room, and Blue(team 2) Base is in the far RIGHT corner of the room, opposite of Red's. The neutral base is on the other FAR corner of the room, opposite of the team's base.
There are 3 tiers, a ramp leading up to each as well as an emergency staircase that is not to be used by players. Tier 2 is 3/4 of the size of tier 1, and tier 3 is 1/4 of the size of tier 1. Tier 1 is a rectangle, one side being 50x80 ft, with a total area of 4000sq ft. There are 3 sections of tier 1, each 1,333.3333sq ft: Red, Blue, and neutral.
There is ONE recharge station for each team on tier 2, and the Mega base is located in the center of tier 3.
The arena is like a maze with several walls, windows, and mirrors. A strategic person could use the mirrors like a laser maze to snipe their target. There are also ridged poles dividing the arena into the neutral zone, with 2 openings on left and right sides. You are able to shoot through the narrow gap between the poles. There is also a sniping position in each team's side, positioned so that you can shoot through windows, shoot mirrors, and(with good aim) between the neutral zone poles.
On tier 2, there is a square hole in the center of the platform. There is a wall around it with gun mounts so that you can snipe passing enemies. These are also on the wall going around the perimeter of the tier, and a cylinder thing with each team's recharge stations. Each team cannot use the other's recharge station. Tier 2 is pretty much a small mirror maze, with the center being the ramp up to tier 3. There are also 4 small bridges with small walls connecting tier 2 to the tier 3 ramp. This maze can be used as a laser challenge as well. There are 2 ramps on each side of the platform that start on the front and back of the neutral zone and connect a few feet up to lead up to tier 2. This is the same for the right side. There is a net-like barrier to keep you from falling off, but you're still able to shoot and receive fire from enemies.
Tier 3 is another maze, like on tier 1, but not as complex. There are solid walls around it, so you cannot give or receive fire. There is a small wall around the Mega base.
BASES: 2 color coded bases, red and blue. Recharge stations located inside. Sensor(target) is on ceiling. There are 2 neutral bases, you are required to shoot these as well as the enemy's base to receive supercharge. The target is on top. Color bases are well covered. When the target is hit, lights and a siren will go off. When the neutral base is hit, a loud glass breaking sound will play and alarm light will go off. Sniping PLATFORMS and MOUNTS located in each team's side.
TIERS: 3 tiers: 1- Main tier, main bases located here. 3 sections of tier 1- Red, Blue, and Neutral. TIER 2- Mirror maze level. End of this will lead to the mega base. Sniping MOUNTS located on outer edge. TIER 3- Mega base tier. Solid walls, one entrance.
MEGA BASE: Requires supercharge to "destroy". Must pass tier 2 to access. Plays loud alarm sound when SMALL target is hit.
SUPERCHARGE: Acquired by shooting all neutral bases and enemy bases. Goes away once Mega base is hit.
More details coming soon.
EDIT: Vest and weapon details
Due to this being a serious game of laser tag(that explains the massive arena), the equipment is very light.
There are several sensors on the vest: one on each shoulder, front and back, one on the front center, and one on the back center. There are also sensors on the side of the vest.
There are a few sensors on the gun as well: one on the front and one on each side.
When one of your sensors are hit, you will lose a life and your gun will be inoperable for 5 seconds.
When you run out of lives or ammo(displayed on the back of your gun) you must return to a recharge station to receive more.
On the recharge stations, you will be able to see the current score of every player on your team and the time remaining on the current game.
After every few turns, the fog machines will activate and enshroud the arena in a thick fog. The lighting is UV, so the fog, walls, and carpeting will glow. You will also be able to see the lasers through the fog. The vests and guns will glow, too, so you can see your enemies. Other than that, the room is VERY dark.
There are 2 triggers on your gun: the fire trigger and the charge trigger. The charge trigger must be held down to keep your gun charged and the fire trigger is pulled to, well, shoot. If the fire trigger is held down, however, your gun will turn into a machine gun and will rapidly fore lasers everywhere you point. If you hold down the fire trigger halfway, then you will have a lock-on laser to aim. If this laser is held on an enemy's sensor for over a second, they will be alerted that you are locking on to their vest.
Remember that enemies can see you through the fog and through windows, mirrors, and other positions. Use the mirrors and sniping positions to your advantage. Recharge whenever you get the chance. You are, however, vulnerable in the few seconds it takes to recharge, so be careful.
