The Worst Situation That Can Happen in 2012

I've been studying science recently, and found out that... The sun is still in its process.

It's in the stage right after the proto-star. So it won't be exploding until it has reached the stage of a red-giant. Which will take oh I don't know...

A FEW MILLION YEARS.

Once it has reached the red-giant and uses up all it's energy, the star explodes and sends out a shockwave called a supernova. This shockwave can form a planetary nebula forming a white-dwarf star shortly after the nebula disappears.

It can also form a blackhole. The star still has gravity after it explodes. This gravity is so strong, that not even light from hundreds of miles cannot escape.

Honestly what I'm trying to say, is. I don't think anything will be happening in 2012.

The sun isn't nearly big enough to go supernova or create a black hole. The sun needs to be nearly the size of Betelgeuse for that. The sun will just shrink, flare up and then collapse. Go poof. Bye-bye. No explosion or black hole.

People thought the world would end in the year 2000 no? Well what's the loving difference now?

They didn't say it would END. They thought that all computers would go back to 0 instead of 2000. So, if I remember correctly, they began to look for newer technology and get rid of their old stuff, hoping that Y2K wouldn't happen. But, Y2K didn't happen and neither will 2012. It's just something that someone came up with to panic everyone. Just like "global warming": the world fluctuates in temperatures. "Global warming" is simply something an eco-freak came up with to panic everyone. He had no proof whatsoever, and that's how it applies with 2012. Just because the Mayan calendar  ends in 2012 doesn't mean that the world is going to end. If they had stopped in 2001 or whatever date, would I panic? No, because I wouldn't want to sit around all day to write a dang calendar. They had to stop somewhere, and they stopped in 2012.
 Big deal. Correct me if I'm off a little :/

That and to earn more money. Like when they switched all TV signals to digital and made it mandatory to get a digital converter if you used an brown townog signal. That, to me, was just dumb.
