Random little things happening on computer, out of ordinary

Yesterday, while trying to look through history, the page kept reloading after I opened a link in another tab, and closed it to go back and keep searching. While I was playing a game in one window and uploading to Youtube in chrome, it flashed on the task bar. When I clicked on it, it was on the Youtube page asking if I was sure I wanted to leave the page. Later, I was randomly logged out of Gmail, which I always leave open, and which has never done this before except for if I ever log out of Youtube or something like that. Just a minute ago I heard the system sound "Asterisk" out of nowhere and with no message of any kind.

Now I'm concerned I have some kind of dumb virus that likes to mess with you while doing whatever else. I decided to run a scan with Avira and it says it has 2 "Detections" and 4 "Hidden objects" but apparently won't let me look at what it found until it's finished.

idk, maybe just stay out of the internet, dont log into anything it might steal your pass/username

Sounds suspicious. Clear cookies and other crap from your web browser. Continue with the virus scan, and also try a different brand of virus scanner as some viruses are known to tweak your virus scanner and damage or disable it.

Do what sheath said mostly. Clear un-needed things from your browser.
As for a different brand, Comodo Antivirus is a good choice, it's what I use, sometimes it can be a bit overprotective. (Which I like about it) '

Like when I try to open a file from an unknown publisher it pops up with the options. "Allow, Block, Sandbox" (Sandbox allows the item to be run without it damaging your computer, and if there is a virus, you can Disinfect it (Some viruses don't have this option) or quarantine it (The file cannot be opened at all, you can not download it, infact I think the site download turns into a 404 error page.))

But this isn't about Comodo, I wish you well with the problem.

My computer starts up with explorer crashing on boot, i have to use task manager to run it again
and a few days ago after i ran an update for windows, now windows anti-virus thing keeps closing windows updates because it thinks its a virus,
