No because the capturing will be done through my laptop so it'll use my laptop's processor not my desktop. It's kinda like recording console games.

Yes but my laptop lags too when I play Dead Rising 2 and stream at the same time. The tri core is only 2.1ghz. I couldn't do it vise versa either because my laptop doesn't have svideo. Derp.
