This is a project I am working on, called Trinity and Oil: Blood in the Sky. It's what I'd like to call a graphical grunge novel, it uses a lot of dirtiness but clear enough to understand what's going on.

The plot (cut down to the bare basics): Androids become self aware when injected with OCO Oil, humans enslave them, robots discover religion and in turn, freedom. "Global Robotic Rebellion" And the rise of their "God" a mechanical priest. The war stars, with humans wanting to clear the Earth of robots, and robots wanting to make the Earth a mechanical paradise. The story fallows Team E.D.E.N. A special operations team meant to take down the mechanical priest.
Setting: Starts in 3020. The intro doesn't have one, it's a time lapse, when E.D.E.N comes in, it will take place on "The Deity" a flying airship of the Robotic Rebellion.

Cast: (cut to the basics)

Edger: The first "E" in E.D.E.N. and the comic relief, Spanish decent, the sniper.
Diana: The "D" and the Shy, but hardcore woman, likes big guns.
Ellen: The second "E" and the "The only thing that matters is the mission" on of the team, Constantly getting on Edger's case, she takes lead in the team, but she isn't the Captain.
Nathan: Then "N" and the wanna be tough guy, Always getting teased by Edger, the techie.

Things to note:

ALL of these pages are mocs, nothing but the art is official (and not even that is really official) You'll see the text change a lot, just me seeing what I like, this isn't the final dialog.
This isn't on of those "Forever" projects, I'm getting a grade for this.
Expect two to four pages a week.

No, the pages aren't the same size, when I print them out they will be, Illustrator is funky like that.
The orange is blood, that's why you haven't seen it since the front cover.

Yea, I just read that over, I forgot to change Oco oil to "Lithoric-902" after page 3. I'll go ahead and fix that.

Edit: I'll type a small transcript of what's going on.

Page one: Oco corp strikes large oil depot, 6 months later Oco science launches. Oco sell the oil all over the world, scientists question how Oco corp has obtained such a large amount of oil. Before a global conspiracy ensures, Oco corp introduces Oco Oil. This special oil duplicates itself when water is added, and the amount of gas extractable from it is far greater then normal oil.

Pages two: Two years later, with no war for oil, nations unite, and with the new resources the Neo-Science age begins.

Page three: With science at it's best, the first topic of research is Oco oil, a new element is found in the oil, Lithoric-902

Page four: The effects of Lithoric-902 amaze scientists as is changes properties of things.

Page five: Oco oil (Li-902 added) has strange reaction with android, and causes it to have self awareness.

I think actually writing it as a book would be a good option, but this is pretty cool.

I was thinking of doing it like that, but filling up the events in between ideas can sometimes throw something off, so I'd rather go with the flow as much as I can, but thanks though, I'll consider it.
