The Encyclopedia of Blockland Builds and How To Do Them

The Basic Sofa [For New Players, so don't flame if it's easy.]

Start off with 16x16 base and place 4 1x1F poles in the locations shown.

Then place a 4x8 plate ontop matching each corner to the poles. Then place 3 2x3 plates in a slightly different
shade ontop to give us a mixture of colours and make our cussions.

Then place 2 1x4 bricks parralel to each other on either side. After that fill in the inbetween space with a 1x6 brick.

Use another 1x6 brick above the last on you just placed and place 2 25* 1x ramps on either side sloping down towards the front.

Add your final touch, A 1x8 plate going across the top joining the back together and your done, Here are some edits I made quickly.

Ramps sloping right down to the base of the sofa.

An ancient greek designer touch to really spice up your build.

The Single Bed [For New Players, so don't flame if it's easy.]

Start off with a 16x16 baseplate and place 4 1x1 poles in the locations shown.

Add a 4x6 plate, this will be the matress and matress cover for our bed.

Place a 25* 2x ramp in the middle of at the very end of the bed, and place a 4x4 plate to be our duvet.

Place a 2 25* crest ends on either side of the 25* 2x ramp and there you have your finished bed.

The Double Bed [For New Players, so don't flame if it's easy.]

To make this simply widen the single bed to a 6x6 radius and change the pillow centres to a 25* 2x1 ramp.

Then simply place 4 25* crest ends at either sides of them to make the pillow shape.

Office Collection: Desk [Some New Looks for Your House or Office Builds]

Start off with 2 1x rounds and 1 2x3 plate in the locations shown.

Place 1 1x2 brick ontop of the rounds, a 1x3 brick to the back of the 2x3 plate, 1x1 bricks on either side of the plate and 1 print with a minus/dash.

Repeat the previous step and it should look like this.

Finaly, Place a 2x6 plate and that's your desk.

Office Collection: Chair [Some New Looks for Your House or Office Builds]

Place 4 1x1 rounds in the locations shown.

Add a 1x3 brick going across and 2 1x1 plates to cover up the other 2 rounds.

Add 2 more 1x1 rounds above each other and behind them 2 more 1x1 plates.

Add a 1x1 brick ontop of the two 1x1 plates and a 2x3 plate for where you will sit.

Set rendering, collision and ray casting off on the 2 1x1 plates supporting the 1x1 brick.

Add the backrest with 2 1x3 plates and there's your Office Chair.

Office Collection: Shelves [Some New Looks for Your House or Office Builds]

Place 4 1x1F poles in the locations shown.

Now, Plant a 2x6 ontop of them to make the first level of your shelf. Then place 1x1 poles in the locations.

Repeat this simple technique and you should get some damn lovey office shelves.

Office Collection: Shelves [Some New Looks for Your House or Office Builds]

Ok, Lets start off with our desk we showed earlier. Build a 1x1 plate on it in the location shown, Add a 1x3 plate, then 2 1x1 bricks on either side, in the middle put a 1x1 print brick and make it blank. Finish the moniter with another 1x3 plate going over the top.

Now add a 1x2 print plate and a 1x1 print plate. Rotate the 1x1 print 1 place anti clockwise once [-90*]
Once you have done that, Add the prints(Both defaults) And thats your keyboard and mouse.

Now place a 1x2 plate, followed by 2 1x1 plates (1 black, 1 white). Place a 1x2 brick intop followed by a 1x2 plate. You now have a computer for your little office set. The next part is optional.

Now, some people like to add that extra detail, coul that be you? Anyway simply adding this wire can give a whole lot more character and make you look like a more dedicated builder.

Small Detailed House Exterior 1 [Say NO to Boxbuilds, Open your heart to sweet centred detail]

In this build you will be using the overlaping brick technique for the walls. Displayed below.

Images bigger in order to clearly copy.

Now, typing all the bricks used would take forever, So I have taken pictures from an arial perspective to make it easier for you to just copy. So this is the first level. Here's a challenge, use just the right size bricks, You should be able to lower the lag on the server by using as little bricks as possible. (This is a valuable technique)
Argh, I gotta sleep, Will upload all the rest tommorow.

Great tuts! Seems like it would really help out new players.
No kiddin', I just spent the last hour uploading these, making the topic and typing instructions. After that I think I know most of the brick names off by heart...

I made this awesome-stuff sofa a while back.

Should I post pic?

And for criticism, don't use pole bricks cause then noobs will see this and go "wat r tose briks????///?"

Then I will make a tutorial on how to find the pole bricks.
Anything can be taught these days ya know.

And yes, Please do post the pic, I can build it from the pic, Break it into steps and add it.

I saw another topic recently called "Blockland Building Encyclopedia" It was a very good idea, though there weren't many pictures going up, and the ones that were, were just pictures, no description or instructions at all. So I decided to open up another topic which actually does what it says it will do.

Thanks, But can you edit those last two posts of yours? I want to get rid of the page streeeeeeeetch. Lol.

[Added new office shelf tut]

gah, I was going to do this.
I'll add to it.

Lol, Please do add to it.
Please keep in mind people, You do not have to take step by step tips, If it is something small like a table or chair or something, I can rebuild from the image, If it is a bit more complicated, send me the save and I will still make it into step by step instructions.

[Added new computer tut]

These are nice, but I still criticize the use of pole bricks. Round 1x1 flats would do in place, and looks more standard-ish.

And sure I'll edit.

Well, I think they make the builds look less clunky and slightly more detailed. Anyway aren't the pole bricks default?
