You know that variable in playertypes that's called runforce? I often find that it's value is some number multiplied by 90, or ## * 90, example being 100 * 90 in quake player.
What's this mean?
Is Quake's runforce literally 9000 or is it something else?

In the torque engine? Yes.

Yes it's 9000.

Runforce and mass in some form of math determine your acceleration.
The sliding playertype has low runforce, but normal max speeds.
