Author Topic: May be building a flight simulator in class  (Read 890 times)

I go to a technical school, meaning for half the school year we do class work like regular schools, the other half we spend in a trade of our choosing. I choose electronics, so my teacher has this idea of building a flight simulator. I think it's a pretty cool idea, what do you guys think? (We are designing this thing by ourselves with little help from the teachers)

Alright then..not exactly sure how to respond to this.

So, you are building a big ass room that simulates the feeling of being in a roosterpit?

If so, what will be the computer's specs? What simulator?

Needs more info, I am curious :3.

This seems like a project out of the scope of a beginning electronics class.

We are still designing it, the computer won't need to be amazing since we are using Microsoft Flight Simulator X as a base for everything, if we tried to code everything in ourselves (Which we are capable of doing) we wouldn't complete it until some time next year at the least (Because we still have to fit in our actual electronics class).
