Yes it does... I have windows 7 and Ive seen where it asks you to change account settings... all you have to do is click the picture of your account when you press the start button then you'll see some options and the 5th one down is change your account type...

Everyone knows User account control is annoying.

Disable it as fast as possible, its a very small security risk.
