Blender 3D

I personally prefer Milkshape 3D and/or Wings 3D over Blender.

The interface and the keyboard shortcuts of Blender confused the hell out of me. Though I hear the new beta has a different interface.
It has some great features, and I've seen very nice stuff come out of it. But I cannot say I like using the program myself.

Blender is pretty damn good once you get past the gui and figure out all the keybinds. Kinda like Max and Maya.

Yes. For making Blockland Add-ons, Milkshape is best, as it has all you need. Wings is great and easy, so it is optimal for models.

Can't say one program is best for something ;) It depends all on the person.
