Author Topic: Blockland's first working binary gate system.  (Read 13609 times)

Yes, Blockland's first gate logic!
There like events... only made threw bricks
I created this after seeing what Minecraft was doing with simple redstone, I was trying to copy Minecraft redstone but then i broke off into my own Blocko version of binary gates
Yellow = 1
Black = 0
I made switches, pulsers, delayers, relays, loops, AND gate, wires, LED lights, sound outputs, input switches, and output switches. This isnt finished, but I have made enough gates to make working machines such as counters and clocks (Very Basic clocks) but it does the works, my server is still up. I am still working on my logic gates. You can join my server now and help out with ideas and new gates.

Heres a pic of what ive done so far, doesnt look like alot. But its alot. It is basicly a tile set ive made, people come and duplicate off the main plate and put it into there contraptions.

Frogger was the first person to make the first functioning clock with the gates
Honytawk was the first person to make the first adder

Your "this is what i've done so far" link, you made an album? I find that hard to believe.
I hate my URL Fixer.

Please run your server more often.

Any mention of Minecraft makes it epic.

Should still upload a save of all the bits and bobs. Let people make some stuff with it.

Yes, Redstone.

Frogger was the first person to make the first functioning clock with the gates

Actually, it required one of his gates and another person's custom gate so basically, he made the gate required for a clock.

So I'm not the only one who thought of this! :)
I have made an 8 bit 4 function ALU of size 16x32xmaby 10 or so bricks high.
But I'm working on a new version where I have miniaturized the 4x8 full adders used in the ALU down to 2x4 by using single bricks as finite state machines to emulate the functions of gates.

Also when were froggers gates made?
Because I made my ALU just before the beginning of summer and just started playing blockland again

Im hosting a server like this that currently has:

Wire, switch, direction toggle, light, OR gate, splitter, inverter, L split, T split, signal direction toggle, projectile reciever, projectile sender.

Also, if you're a fan of redstone, google MCRedstoneSim.

So I'm not the only one who thought of this! :)

Derp I was telling you about CCA's on your server.
Anyway it would be cool if we could all make our own components that are compatible with each others systems and mix and match gates.

You said his stuff was smaller faster and was done before mine.
all of those are false.
the pros of his system seem to be that it is easyer to use
