Author Topic: What would you like to see in a map?  (Read 2141 times)

I've got two ideas, and they are as follows:

1) An actually good sunset map, with gentle rolling hills and some new tree shapes.
2) Originally suggested by Starhawk:
I'm looking for a map that gives the appearance that the player is actually orbiting a close planet. The planet would be large enough that it takes up most of the floor, but small enough so that you actually appear in orbit. I swear I've seen a map like this before but I can't find it anywhere, so if you know of one (other than Slate Eclipse; it's a great map but the planet is too small) then please let me know. If not, someone should definitely make this!
[Slate Orbital] is a good map but I'm looking for a map that has the planet beneath you, not in the skybox.

Giant city upon a mountain, that thins as you go down the mountain, sort of like an hourglass.
Throw in some roads(model), ramps(terrain), hills(terrain) and the such, and they all line up with the brick grid.
Then add a nice ocean around the base of the mountain, just where the pinch is, and make the skybox go from night and day, seasons, weather, etc.
Now all we need is a decent CityRP that doesn't suck...
By the way, small request, but could someone PM me the link to the City RP?
I want to hold on to it, and mod it some.

the changing weather and seasons and stuff, i dont believe thats possible. sounds cool otherwise!

It would be nice to have a snowy map with a thick coniferous forest at the base of the mountains, with the mountains being tall and steep(Over 55 degree angle on average, maybe). The sky would be partially cloudy with lots of stars and a full moon in the high west. The terrain would be less rugged the further it gets away from the mountains. Maybe add some caves or mines. There would be a river flowing down the tallest mountain leading to the far-off(I don't really care how far-off it is, just not super close to the mountains) coast of a lake(in between shallow and average depth). There would be a flat valley tightly enclosed by cliffs and mountains with no trees in it, as a place for building n stuff. Oh, and maybe add some kind of northern lights effect to the skybox. The cover of the new early holiday Lego catalog made me want a map like this :U It's like Alaska or Canada sdgahlfasg

id like to see a pirate ship map :3

I would like a Basement, living room, and maybe a home office (To accompany Bedroom & Kitchen)

The overall map succeses include at least the ability to build everywhere.
And of course, to build anything, for small to big and different themes of builds.

I can't think of anything that you DIDN'T know. :C

counter strike map not made out of bricks that would be awsome

A deep forest map, with lots of foliage.
That would be kewl.
