Author Topic: How to make complicated animations (Not Making Models)  (Read 1053 times)

Hey Blockland..

I've been working lately on more weapons, my needs are getting out of hand, and I'm badly needing to make more complicated animations for my new weapons..

Of looking on both the forums and Youtube, I can't find a animating tutorial that can show me how to animate with multiple animations, example..

If I want to make a shotgun, when you fire, how do you make the model pump only when it realods, so when you reload, it does the pump animation also..

Another thing, I can do fire animations, but, when you have like a rifle, and the bullet has to fly out of the hole in the gun, the peice that flys back on most guns doesn't stick to the gun itself, also, when you fire, if this was a two handed rifle for example, your hand comes up, pulls back the lever, and your hand goes back on the trigger, ready to fire. This is in the TF2 Sniper, the new AWP, and some other rifles I've seen in the game so far..

Azeruth's Tutorial shows the animation names for when you equip it, how to make it nonstop, and when you fire, I want to know how to make reloading animations, and how to make several for one model, because nothing I've found after searching the forums and Youtube answers this question. I would love it if someone replies with the knowledge of animating weapons, this isn't a question on "How to make models" or "How to animate".. more of how to make more complicated animations for more realistic weapons, I hope this is replied to with decent answers, thanks for reading this!

Fail...

It's simple. As your at the end where you're exporting, open up the animation window. You will see a scale number from 1 to 30. That's for the bar at the bottom. You will see that when you scroll the bar side to side, the animation plays. Wherever the animation part stops, is an animation sequence.
