You don't need to fix it, you need to have that little thing called PATIENCE and just let it load without doing anything. It might not look like it's working, but it is.

Badspot added a game cache. On first start up of v18, it caches everything in your Add-Ons folder. For some people, like you and me, the screen doesn't even load, so we can't see the loading bar. You just have to wait while it puts EVERYTHING into that cache file.

But Badspot removed this with v19 due to noobs not understanding wtf was going on on startup. Sad...
