I'm on a mac, and I have this issue with my BL every time I try to join a second server. The first server I connect to I have no problem. When I try to start a game or connect to a different server, this problem appears. I have installed Blockland correctly into my applications folder, and have made sure there is nothing restricting access in this folder. I also crash when people connect to my server.

Are you using the zip, or the disk image?
I use the .zip, and I get this every 1/3 time I join a server.

the .zip.

I might go for the DMG if this keeps happening

Also having this problem, but on a Windows 7 computer. I get the error when I try to host online or offline. I also get it after downloading the file manifest on any server I join (excluding Badspot's, I've found out).

Either disable UAC or install Blockland to c:/Blockland instead of C:/Program Files/Blockland

Is this in the options section? And will this fix my problem?

UAC is a windows setting.

UAC is a windows setting.
Ah. Well, is there anyway to fix this for macs?

Blockland needs write permission to it's own folder.  By default, applications should be able to write to their own folders.  Works for me and others.  I don't know what to tell you.

Alright thanks. Does this also affect people joining my server causing me to crash? Sorry if I'm being unclear or stupid, I'm just trying to get my game working. I'll take a look at my systems prefs later.

Yeah, it's User Account Control for Windows computers. Thanks, Badspot!

Funny thing is, Blockland was having this problem for me all weekend, then I got it fixed late Sunday night. Soon after, my dad banned me from video games because he figured out I lied about completing my extra-credit reading journal entry for English class. Oh, the irony.

Sorry for double post, there's no "modify" button.

Turns out parental controls was enabled for some unknown reason. I fixed that, the only issue I still have is crashing when people connect to my server.

Can be used by parents maybe.
