As far as I know, safe mode isn't admin.

Ok, all I had to do is login as admin in safemode and change it, thanks.
I have now fixed a super computer from '05, which is a regular one if not less today.
Now I have to fix his laptop which the screen wont work :/

Yeah, go into safe mode, get free no password admin account, then do whatever you want.
