Author Topic: Avoid Paradox, or RelliK's server  (Read 1867 times)

Went to the CityRP RelliK is hosting. It was okay. RelliK is fine, but his admins are idiots. Specifically Paradox. I played the CityRP for many hours, slowly earning education and getting a job. Then someone shot an admin, and I got a few thousand dollars. I spent that money improving the City, building a shop. It looked rather nice if I do say so. So then Paradox appears in police uniform asking me about the money. Since I played the RP fairly, I tell him "I just got the cash, its not my problem he lost it" and the admin didn't care either, it seemed. I continued "I am not a criminal, you can't do anything about it.". So then suddenly, Paradox resets my CityRPG account. My many hours spent getting education are lost. I remove my build. The host tries to give me cash to make me stay, but Paradox has not only wasted my time there, but punished me, one of the few players who were actually contributing positively to the RP and not freekilling.

This guy is a fool. Don't admin him, and don't go to that RP unless you want utter frustration.

Also, as for my build. The admin apparently saved it, but it would have been an older, empty version. No point loading an unfunctional box.

Apparently, even though the host wants to help you, you just leave because of some stuffty admin?
By the way, you shouldn't have said "you can't do anything about it" It's just how they are. The best way is to ignore him and continue on, don't bother about him. A host has more authority than others if it's the right/correct/good host

CityRPs take hours, when someone wipes all your progress in seconds its not something you can just ignore and get on with. I liked developing an honest and quality CityRPG account, not some cheap whipped up account with compensation because of an admin who wiped my details just to try and prove his authority. And he'll no doubt do it again, he didn't give a stuff at all.

Error.

Error.

No no, see thats a really silly thing to say. I had spent hours getting an education and a proper job-- the money I got afterwards was a rare occurrence that I put towards building to improve the RP. All the work I did before was in vain.

But, you could've restarted it again. The host even offered.

Even though there is no point, you could've started it again and continued, and made it better. Yet you just left the server. If the admin had bothered you again, you can report it to the host. You didn't bother to do that, now there's no point.
And why should we not go to RelliK's server? He wasn't the problem. Paradox was

He has an array of useless admins and idiots who discover the key, who cheat using the RP, give out guns, and kick people for sitting in their builds.

He's a complete cigarette, I hope he sees this.

You did take a picture of your shop after you finished it right? D:

I thought Paradox was cool...

It doesn't matter, I was just replicating a build I made in Tapes RP. :3

I do have to admit, when I joined I wasn't sure if I should have stayed. There are good CityRPGs out there, but you have to be careful because most end up corrupt.
I'd host my own if my Internet wasn't gay...
