Just download and install Firefox and then set it as your default internet browser.

Nothing will go wrong. Internet Explorer is just a way to browse the internet, it's not going to cause problems by installing another way to browse it (Any other web browser).

If you deleted system32 it would be bad, plus I don't think it's even possible. Whenever somebody says to delete system32 they're not being serious.
