Author Topic: loving old people looking down on teens.  (Read 9554 times)

Try applying for a job with no experience.

that is the dumbest thing i ever heard.
my point on experiences dont even apply to that.

gtfo if you are that stupid

I am 14 and I completely understand old people's view point. I see that almost every teenager is pretty much a dumbass. Doing stupid stuff, saying stupid stuff, having a stuff sense of humor, being lazy, being selfish, being ignorant, being hypocritical and the list goes on and on.

These people are multiple times older than you. They went to school, they went through an entirely different technology age. Old people are not dumb. They are slow to new ideas. That happens as you grow older. Teenagers are impatient with them because us teenagers are still growing mentally. We are still finding our opinions.

I hope teenagers don't get more stupid as time goes on, or we will be in some deep stuff.

-snip-

This post is both ironic and hypocritical. Quite frankly I'm done arguing with you, whatever you believe will keep going in your head, and vise versa with me.

I can see why they probably don't like you

They don't like me because I think people that are arrogant are stupid. That makes sense.

"my" elders, are very different then just any other old person.

I dont give up my seat for a pregnant chick, i wouldn't do it for an old person.

Exactly lol.

Bingo is fun.

Finally, something we agree on!

TL;DR - Old people look at you this way because you act like a spoiled brat.  Eventually you will grow out of it.

Well no stuff.

I actually agree with most of your first paragraph, however Bisjac makes a good point with the second one. Just because we aren't even old enough to have all of these "experiences" doesn't mean that they can walk on water and be worshiped. This once again goes back to one of my original points, they dislike and respect me, well, counterpart to them.

Try applying for a job with no experience.

Job experience =/= life experience.

Life experiences don't do stuff to you except for the way you act on future occasions. You will be what you will be and what you go through is irrelevant to how you should treat people that never experienced your life.

I just had another point I felt was brilliant but apparently actually isn't because I forgot it.

-snip-

Half of this is totally irrelevant. K.

Irony.

"LALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU LALALA"

You're cool.

I'm not even going to argue with you.

Thanks for the input in the thread, too, appreciate it.
