Oops.

And the build.
I think you could just do any build then build it up from scratch...

The fun way to do this would be to have a dedicated server with a scripted camera thing to take a screenshot ever couple minutes.

That's possible?

He means something like this, but longer.
It's supposed to be all taken from one angle.
In real life, timelapses are taken from tall buildings a few blocks away, one picture per day, 10 pictures per second, each timelapse showing about 3 years of footage, about 4 minutes long.

One angle.
Like an exterior.

That's possible?
Yeah, and I have a general idea of how it would be done, but I cannot be bothered as I have a life.
(And a stuffton of programming for a pitch of my final project at my school)

With that method, a 3 minute video would be 3.6 Gigabytes assuming your screenshots are around 720p.

Fraps recording an amazing build over 24 hours. Then you realize your hard drive is full...

i thought the free version of fraps (demo?) had a limit :D

idea... if procaster doesn't record, although i thought i saw somewhere it said it does, what about somebody else recording a live stream? :D

I have full version of fraps, yet have only ever used it for school projects.

Maxwell made this nice timelapse video of a mini-city.

its like what people do on the sims.

I had an idea for a hammer destruction time lapse series. In which I get like five people to kill a big build with nothing but hammers. I don't know.
