Author Topic: P-660HW-D1 v2 Port Forwarding  (Read 1367 times)

Does anyone have this router? I got it with Embarq, which is a fairly popular company, so I'm sure at least one of you have it.

I've tried everything there is to try with no luck. If anyone knows how to port forward this please help.

Also not in Blockland help because I'm not only port forwarding for Blockland.

Isn't that what makes it blockland help? Also have you gotten to the router page, do you know how to port forward just it doesn't work? Also you are not supposed to need to port forward any more.

I'm just saying, but unless this is some famous router, it isn't likely that someone else here has it.

Why ONLY Blockland? It's the same as any other game that you want to forward your ports. In fact you're not forwarding ports towards a specific game yet your entire network.

And yes this should belong in HELP since this is related to Blockland. Badspot also has tutorial. :/

Oops I typo'd. also

I believe it is the new default Embarq one
Badspot also has tutorial. :/
I've done that tutorial 20 times, theres something wrong with my router.

Then try their customer support?

Shouldn't this always be the first thing you do?

Well I'm only familiar with Linksys but I'll try.

Do you know your default gateway? You sure you're not using your IP address to get into your router settings?

I have this, the router's firewall is off, the computer's firewall has exceptions, and I have no antivirus that would be blocking it.

Did you set a static IP yet?

Is that necessary? I think it only changes the ip when you turn the computer off and I always just put mine to sleep.

Yes it is necessary but as you said you don't turn off your computer so... I dunno. I would try it anyways.

Ok I'm trying that and I'm Toasteh on that livestream.

EDIT: Done. Now I just need someone to test my server...
its Toasteh's Server if anyone will try it.

EDIT2: Someone tested it and the ping was ---. What haven't I done?

What is your DNS IP? You might have a double-nat system which makes it impossible to port forward, but then again, like I said earlier, you don't have to port forward for BL anymore. I have a double-nat which makes it impossible for me to port forward and I can host on BL fine.

UNP or some other stuff?

Isn't there 2 forms of ports you have to open.
