Toshiba Satellite A660 Series.

I have the A665-S6050 and it's a great laptop for the price at which I bought it from Best Buy, which was $740 with tax.

How good are the parts? He wants it so when APB comes back up we can play.

EDIT: He can also hardly play Halo 2 without massive lag, neither can he play Halo: CE

I think you'd be able to play APB on this laptop, however I've never tried it. It's got an Intel Core i3 processor @ 2.27GHz (dual-core) with 4GB DDR3 RAM and a 500GB HDD @ 7200rpm. The graphics card is integrated (well, it's actually not even integrated, it's literally part of the processor itself, not even built onto it like integrated ones are). However, I'm able to play games like Left 4 Dead, TF2, Portal, Counter-Strike: Source, etc. on high settings with very little to no lag.

Look at:

Asus
Newegg
iBUYPOWER
TigerDirect
CompUSA

Awesome. Mind scanning for APB in Canyourunit to see? I know canyourunit sucks, but I just wanna see.

Also, he customized his own on cyberpowerpc

what you think?

How much would he be paying?

Also, get the Radeon 6850 or GTX 460. And AMD, not Intel.

HAHAHAH, no.
AMD processors are terrible compared to Intel.

Almost a bit under his budget. Thats the only intel he can find in his price, amds are more expensive.

974 bux

I laughed. You can get a better processor from AMD for less than you can from Intel. Their i5's are $250-$300. AMD's 6-Core's are $200-$250 and much more amazing.

what you think?

That is a very good computer and would be able to play APB very handily.

I just realized. If you're paying $974 for something that will only last you a year.

Just buy the parts for Newegg or TigerDirect and build the PC. You can get it much cheaper.

He's over at my house, which is how he's checking his thread.

He's seen me chatting over steam all day.
