Now lets get things rolling

This year! I can't be bothered to make everything my self
but....
I have decided to get the community involved with the
biggest holiday of the year and put together an awesome
package of add-ons to celebrate
Christmas 2010

Now first off we're going to discuss the contest details

Alright guys here's the deal.
What you need to make is a Christmas themed add-on.
ANY KIND OF ADD-ON WILL DO!
that means Vehicles/Weapons/Tools/Bricks/Decals/Hats/ETC.

Exceptions would be music and maps, we don't really need any of those. (unless you really want to.)

All winning add-ons will be packaged together and released in December
The top 3 entries will all get prizes
As for all the awesome honorable mentions, they'll be included too :)
But for the crappier entries. Better luck next time*

*Should you're entry not get included we're not stopping you from releasing it outside the contest on it's own.

Add-Ons will be judged by the following

• PERFORMANCE - How well it works, no bugs, easy to use, etc
• PRESENTATION - How well you presented it, how nice it looks, etc
• ORIGINALITY - Something completely unexpected and original, completely new, etc

Now for the nasty part

THE RULES

• NO REMAKES - That means no copying another add-on and just slapping some Christmas colours on it, that goes for anything else included in the last Christmas pack.
• NO RELIGIOUS BIGOTRY - If you're whining because we aren't doing anything Hanukkah themed or some other holiday, don't bother, this is a Christmas themed contest and we're sticking to it. I AM NOT STOPPING YOU FROM MAKING ANY OTHER HOLIDAY ADD-ONS FOR THIS CONTEST, NOR WILL YOU BE PENALIZED FOR POINTS. WE'RE ALL EQUAL HERE.
• NO DRAMA - If some outside dispute regarding an add-on or specific person arises then take it somewhere else. We won't have your constant bitching about how someone may have possibly stole a model/code from someone else or something like that. which is another thing.
• THEFT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED - Should enough evidence show that you stole a model or script with out permission then you will be disqualified from the contest.

Now with all that out of the way, on to the fun stuff.

PRIZES!

First place: a $10 steam game of their choice!
Second place: A free copy of minecraft.
Third place: The Humble Indie Bundle (Courtesy of BoneStorm)

These are subject to change.
Seeing that notch has a free gifting thing going on for minecraft at Christmas
anyone who has bought the game has a free cpoy to give a way during the Christmas season
we'll be using that for free copies of minecraft as prizes. if anyone else feels like putting their copy they haven't given away up for a prize then go right ahead. The more we have to give away, the better.

If you feel like giving away another kind of prize to the winners go right ahead!

MULLTIPLE ENTRIES ARE ALLOWED
COLLABORATING IS ALLOWED - However if you win the prize will not double (unless more prizes are donated) sharing it will be decided by you, not me.

Since my modelling abilities suck, i'm going to suggest some thing

Gamemode Role play. requires TDM mod. gets rid of the score shower because it annoys me.(a nice christmas present i would enjoy)

Sleigh with multiple versions such as one with a turret (Perfect for them Xmas Dogfights. turret would be rockets or machine guns) and without a turret

A decent tank. I would love another tank for Christmas.

edit: And the old props to be ported into bricks without the stuffty prop system

Because then people would try to get second place, and the everyone's would be about the same quality, and therefore quite hard to judge.

I don't think it should matter, the $10 choice allows the winner to choose what ever they want
hell if we get enough prizes, he could win BOTH a copy of minecraft and a $10 game

If you can im entering it cause this could be a chance to practice my blender modeling.

Unless you want to make it very complicated and/or don't know how to export models correctly, i can script it for you if you want.
