Author Topic: A reason to not fear death.  (Read 14743 times)

When you die, you cease to exist.

Your spirit does not possess another living being.

You do not go to a magic fairy land in the clouds.

Your will not be reincarnated in the 70's.

You are nothing.

You do not pass go and collect $200.

Correct. You get reincarnated in the future. ON PLANET VEREON XII

I almost predicted you were gonna say something like that.
:o

Why would anything happen?

When you die, you cease to exist.

Your spirit does not possess another living being.

You do not go to a magic fairy land in the clouds.

Your will not be reincarnated in the 70's.

You are nothing.
I laughed really hard at this, so many people will try and fight i just because they don't want to face the inevitable truth that it is true.

Hopefully when ever I die I will go somewhere I can control.

It's not true, you can't prove it. Unless you died and somehow came back to life.
And no, I don't believe in any of the reincarnation crap.

To not fear death is to be Mexican.

Anyways, nothing happens after death.

Prove it.

You die. Blank. You cannot see or think or anything. There is nothing after death, you're dead.

The only reason you can see is thanks to your brain and eyes. Once those fail, you can't see or hear, and your brain shuts down. You basically don't exist anymore, that one spark of energy and that lump of flesh and organs you are, you're one big machine that powers itself, and it isn't guaranteed for life.

But death is curable. Yes, very curable. The only reason you die is because oxygen stopped getting to your brain. If your body gets chopped in half, oxygen stops getting to your brain, if you lose too much blood, it can't carry enough oxygen to your brain and if your heart is stabbed, it cannot pump oxygen to your brain.

The way to fix death is to supply oxygen to your brain through more a cautious and tougher system that IS man-made.

But this will never happen.

There is no proof of anything. Going with the most likely is smart, though.

Going with the most likely is smart, though.

If it is "most likely" it would have some proof of it, or else all thoughts of what happens after death are "most likely".

"you go to some magical kingdom in the clouds" is not even remotely likely.

Good thing that's not heaven.
That's just some stupid fairy-tale thing.

Remember kids, the Bible is historically correct and scientifically correct. Mount Sinai is real, they found remains of the Ark... It was written by 40 people over a course of... Gah, I forget how long, but it's a thousand or something years. And yet it all fits together perfectly. When the Bible talks about science, it's always right.

That's really not a reason to not fear it, it's just something to see. You can't be curious or intrigued when you die and you don't get to see what there is, because, well, you'll be dead.

I never understood why it's so hard for people to believe that human beings simply have life. Life is a noun, an abstract one at that. There is no spirit, there is no soul, there's just the human brain interpreting everything it's receiving. When your body gives up on you, that's it. Your life is done, over, gone. It can't just go somewhere else.

I know I'm late on this, just voicing myself. :P

Nope.
