Hinduism.

Prove it.
Human thought and existence is "electrical and chemical" impulses throughout the brain. Brain no longer works = no thought or existence.

You die. Blank. You cannot see or think or anything. There is nothing after death, you're dead.

The only reason you can see is thanks to your brain and eyes. Once those fail, you can't see or hear, and your brain shuts down. You basically don't exist anymore, that one spark of energy and that lump of flesh and organs you are, you're one big machine that powers itself, and it isn't guaranteed for life.

But death is curable. Yes, very curable. The only reason you die is because oxygen stopped getting to your brain. If your body gets chopped in half, oxygen stops getting to your brain, if you lose too much blood, it can't carry enough oxygen to your brain and if your heart is stabbed, it cannot pump oxygen to your brain.

The way to fix death is to supply oxygen to your brain through more a cautious and tougher system that IS man-made.

But this will never happen.
Intresting,so what if we had like a machine in your brain that sucks in oxygen through your ears and into your brain :o

You're stupid.

And at Ike's post there, what about death by disease?

I'm not scared of life.
I'm not scared of death.

I am, however, scared of the transition.

I know that.
But what if an afterlife does not require your brain?

Your mind cannot upheld logical thinking.

If you are your brain.

You=Mind

Then your mind shuts down.

Mind

Watch this, oh oh.

Mind=You

Simple as that.

But in many ideas of the afterlife, your brain has nothing to do with it. You are an empty vessel, as are all living things. Your Soul is what drives you. It what makes you whole and what allows you to live, even if you can explain the process of living scientifically. Under which case, your mind and your Soul are connected. In basic, your Soul can live without a mind, but your mind can't survive without a Soul. And the Soul is what passes on to the other side, while the mind ceases. Such says those beliefs, at least.

Lies.
They do!

Feeeeeel the tree.

Unless you're a dendrophile.

In which case that's rape. :C
