Author Topic: Computer loving Up  (Read 1653 times)

I was playing Blockland on full-screen, and I'm just building. All of a sudden, my computer freezes all the way, not even the mouse could move. I hold down the power button on it and I turn it off. I started it up again, and I get something like this:

Check cable connection!
PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM
No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key

I didn't know what a bootable disk was, so I just hit the space bar. I got this:

Check cable connection!
PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM
No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key

What the forget?

I am on my stuffty old-as-forget computer typing this right now. What should I do?

Seems like your HDD crashed.

Apparently so.
My other computer can play Minecraft and Blockland, but this one can't.

>New computer
>Troubleshoot
>Get a "boot disk"(whatever that is)
>Look for your owner's manual
>Get new hardware for your computer

I had a boot disk error, it want the hdd that was forgeted but the mobo. Try another hard drive in that computer or try that hard drive in another computer

that isn't a good sign
I know, right?

Another thing you can do is hit a bunch of random keys and see what happens.

I can't do that. I guess I'm just having to wait for my birthday computer.

It makes a huge loving beeping noise. That's it.

You need to get boot disk from manufacturer...

Do what it says.
Check the cables.

You usually get a boot/repair disk with your computer.

You can look up what mobo beep codes mean.
