This was happening to me yesterday, it's likely a rootkit based malware probably.
Use this
http://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/solutions?qid=208280684, scan with Ad-aware, scan with malwarebytes, and then scan with MRT for good measure. I'm not getting redirected anymore but the pop ups are still happening, don't know what the cause of this is.
Malwarebytes and Ad-aware are both free and great programs, not intrusive at all, straight forward, simple.
Also go into your router settings page (type 192.168.1.1), view setup page and look at the DNS, change the primary and secondary to 0.0.0.0 I haven't actually tried this but I'm pretty sure it should get rid of your troubles.
