Early rap didn't contain profanity every other word and actually had a tune to it other than the same 4 beats being repeated.

I listen to rap, but I would pick rock.  Rap is mostly random uneeded cussin and is not really music, just edited voices and electronic, not alot of real instruments or talent, just a way to get rich fast and repel hoes.
