Author Topic: I'm trying to find something that is wrong with this computer I'm looking at.  (Read 1515 times)

My Dad has W7 and I find nothing wrong with it.

I have windows seven.
The only problem I've ever had was with the compatibility files being saved in the wrong places.

I've not encountered such a thing.

That gpu is absolute stuff for that price

Thats a lot better and even less money, I would highly recommend building a computer instead of purchasing a prebuilt one

You fail at links.
Either that or you gotta be logged in for some reason.
Which is it?

Woops, I fixed it now

I will Probably swap the GPU in the future, but compared to what I have now, It will do fine for games I play (If not better).

I can run most Source games smoothly with a 256MB dedicated Ram Graphics card on Medium, a 1GB would be perfect for me.

8GB of Random Access Memory and a 6 Core Processor should be pretty efficient for my very humble demanding games. Seriously, the only game I own that requires some decent Specs is TF2.

You're getting ripped off though for that price, the gpu is an outdated piece of stuff.

I don't have extremely high standards for everything. Sure I could maybe get a better one for cheaper by having it custom built, but usually, there is no warranty, and I am getting a couple hundred dollars from my relatives.. Also, I am looking in the 800-900$ range, and this seems to fit my needs well. I run Source games on medium settings with a loving X series card and a dual core processor + 1 gig of Ram pretty well.

Just saying you could get better for less

Do you know ~ how many bricks could be handled with this computer?

The computer I have right now, or the Computer I wanted to buy? And by handling, do you mean without crashing, or without extreme slowdown?

This one I'm gonna talk my mom into buying.

Without going less than 15FPS.

Argh, HP, what the hell. You can customize the t series, but not the f one. GAHHH!

Not sure if this has been answered yet but...

The low score is almost definitely the hard drive. The only way to score higher would be to use SSDs. If not that then it would be the graphics.
