Black Friday - Best Buy

Ok, calling all twin city blocklanders again lol.
This 25th at 5PM (possibly sooner for some of us) We will be in line at the Bloomington Best Buy.

This has been a long time tradition with the MN friends. year after year we all hang out all night in line. being at least of the first 50 people of a line of 2000 lol.
They hand out item tickets at 3AM, and we never miss the best ones.
we go all out with a tent and space heaters. sometimes dvd player and tv if we got a good group.

even if you are broke, its still fun to hang out. buy something small even.

This year i plan to buy a new vaio lappy, one of them 50 inch LED tvs, and 1 or 2 kindles for gifts.
our age range is pretty wide. we got 14yo cousins, and net friends as well.

there was about 60 of us there. 20 new people by like midnight that were at other parties before.
i dont even recall if any blocklanders came, i was drunk by 8 and didnt meet every person.
cookie and catty were there though lol

no thats not how they work, "tickets" are the deals in the newspapers.

at 3AM (2hours before store opens)
they come out and give everyone free coffee and hot chocolate. and they start at front of line and hand out the paper deal tickets as first come first serve (the line)
limited 1 per person. so even people who dont intend on buying anything can get a ticket to hold for someone else ;)

these are the ticket items that are like 20-60% off the original price. and these run out long before the store even opens.
if you showed up late like 10 at night you could hop in line with us. dont gotta be there as early as us, but the bulk of the night you should be hanging out.

like the 50inch plasma for 700 bucks.
or like a 360 for 200
or some hp laptop for 200

and sell it to someone in the back of the line for 100 bucks lol

I wish I could go to black Friday but I live in California and don't want to get shot outside Best Buy for my money or anything I buy. :(
