Author Topic: The Blockland icon is a little nicer on the mac...?  (Read 1270 times)

Anyone else notice this?

The icon for the dock on the Mac is far nicer than the oh-so-pixelized icon on the PC. I do believe that with the next update, the icon on the PC should be identical to the mac's dock icon.

Discussidness, also getting a picture on this silly laptop.

Derp. TomTheGeek made a topic about how to switch the icons recently. In V8 we had the stuffty icon, but in v9 Badspot made a nice glossy one to fit in more with the Mac desktop. He should update the Windows icon to a more suitable one for Vista and 7.

To make a nice icon for your program on the mac, you just generate a .icns file with icon composer and put that in your xcode project.

To use the large icon features of vista/win7 you have to jump through a dozen hoops in visual studio.  I couldn't be bothered.

Especially when anyone that really cares can just switch it themselves. :u
