Author Topic: BioShock 3D files for PC?  (Read 3463 times)

As an avid editor at BioShock Wiki, I find myself required to contain large collections of knowledge and content on the games. My current task has been data extraction of the BioShock Mobile games.

I have searched everywhere for BioShock 3D, a 3D mobile phone game of BioShock, but to no avail. I've bought it for my cellphone, but the levels download individually, so I can't get past Welcome Center.

Does anyone have any idea where I could download BioShock 3D and the other levels for PC? I keep finding the 2D version, and it's annoying.

There is a cheap 2D version, with an even lowered resolution version of it for the smallest phones. There is also a 3D version which resembles a N64 edition of the game.

What I need is a phone emulator that can run these, allow not only snapshots but also videos to be taken, and even run the 3D version. So far, I have a program now that can run it, but the resolutions seem to always be off by a little and it can't do the 3D games. Some versions run wide but display the wrong orientation on the display. I'd like the largest shots possible, but it's getting impossible. Help? They are .jar games mainly used for cellphones and more advanced.

Edit: Last picture shows size problem with the smallest version.

Edit2: http://www.mobiles24.com/search?keywords=BioShock&c=free-mobile-games&search=GO There's a bunch of versions of the game for different phone resolutions, if required. I don't see 3D, but that might be some pay... copyrighted.

Hmm... I'm not smart enough to know which of those to use. In basics, I just need adaptable display boxes. But since this(/these?) are cellphone games, I was thinking it had to be on one of those. Any idea if I could just play these in full display without sticking them into a phone display or something?

And I still want to try getting visuals of the 3D version as well. I'd also like to figure out the file formats for those to load individually to make renders. (I've already found something to extract individual files, but I can only read the MANIFEST.MF and half the audio files.)

it appears the games you are talking about are for java capable mobile phone

in which case you will want this tool

How do I use it and I still need to extract models, record video/snapshot this, etc...

By the way, ase, nice avatar.

And extracting files... anything on opening them as images and such?

I hate bumping pages, I really need to start posting these during high traffic times. I won't bump for another like 12-14 hours since I'm going to sleep, bye.

Lol, mobile gaming.

On a serious note, good luck on it, be warned that there is alot of fake mobile bioshock games around, aswell as Half life and etc, i've tried to find a good half-life based one but all is fake.

Grab the mobile phone games first, they should have the file extension .jad or .jar, and just drag/drop the the file right on top of midpto exe, it should convert it to an exe that your computer can run.

as far as model/sprite extraction, im not so sure. I've never had to do that one.

Well, I dragged the .jar onto it and nothing seemed to happen. They are made into the same folder, or the base of the drive? (F:\ ?) Confused.

And about extraction:
http://bioshock.wikia.com/wiki/Big_Daddy_Suit - As you can see, the render there is from me. I try to provide clear images like this, and to render out the 3D Models from the mobile game would help. Our section on the mobile versions are extremely limited, but they did put at least a certain amount of work into making them, so they deserve decent sections of mention.

Edit: I found a command line to make it work (Midp2Exe.exe -jar bioshock_pzzwifrr.jar -out crap.exe), but it definitely doesn't work. It builds into a statically shaped cellphone simulator with a logo marker at the start and still won't fit.

This looks interesting!

Ya, I like phone games too, and this might help with ones I've been wanting to play.
