Author Topic: Just got two teeth removed.  (Read 840 times)

Title pretty much says it all. Getting braces in a month or so and had to many teeth. It didn't hurt as much as i thought it would, the injection nipped a little bit but not to bad. My mouth is still numb and i can't talk very well. Can't eat or drink for 2 more hours as well.

Anyone else had teeth removed?

never have, and i even had braces years ago.

but i think i got wisdom teeth that need to come out now...

Do braces hurt to put on? Getting the teeth removed isn't to bad, except for the injection which nips a tiny bit and tastes disgusting when they drop it on your tongue :P

I have no front teeth (canines and beyond not included in this statement) and one back molar on each side, top & bottom missing.

When my wisdom teeth come in though it won't matter with the molars

Real men smash teeth themselves.

I didn't smash them, but when I was lower of age I took them out on my own.
Every single one of them.
In 2010 I removed 2 teeth parts which were "cut off" somehow.

Didn't went to the dentist once...

eh braces are ok. they pretty much just glue thingies on most your teeth, and string them together with a wire.

the back teeth though suck. they have these metal rings that go around the molars, and they wedge them down on your gums hard. and all your teeth are sore for days.
then the thingies that were glued to the front teeth, they rub against your cheeks and lips and cut them up hurtin.

but still not to bad. it super lame when they remove them. because your teeth are all sore anyways when they take it all off. but then they drill and chip off the glue on your teeth. and its all sensitive and lame.

I removed all my baby teeth by myself but I had to get the dentist to remove two of my molars on the top.

I forgot to say, gums wouldn't stop bleeding, had to leave with cotton wool in my gums to help make the blood clot. Looked like a idiot walking out of the dentist :P

Doesn't sound to bad, except for the part about rubbing against your cheeks and lips and wedge them down on your gums.

Meh, what has to be done has to be done I guess. The orthodontist said I would only need them for a year or so.

Favorite Blog...

But I've had at least 4 teeth removed. And one wisdom tooth to upright one of my molars.

I pull my teeth out on my own. With no milk OR bowl.

I had this last week.

You think you have it bad, I'm having another two out next Tuesday and then braces later on for 1 - 2 years. :c

Wow.

I think im getting braces next year.

The initial thought of having teeth pulled is quite freaky if you know what I mean but when its done and dusted you feel fine. A bit like a roller coaster ride, scared at first but really find it okay when you do it.

Everything that's supposed to happen when you get teeth out or braces on, didn't happen to me.

Basically, everything they said that would or wouldn't happen to me, did and didn't in turn.

The worst I've got is those old metal tooth coverings. So painful...

I didn't go to the Dentist too long ago. She said "You have the best teeth that I've seen in a while!" Lucky me.  :cookieMonster:
