Ya im still on demo but im going to get my depit card soon.
I got a question, can you stll download stuff for demo like a new map and still use it?

Yes, but you will only be able to use it on LAN by yourself if you still have the demo.

oh thats good. but what if i buy the retail, will i have to get the mod/map again?

When you buy, you get a key that unlocks the demo.  So you won't have to re-download anything.
