I have a Pentium 4 2.0GHz.

Would overclocking it to about 2.3 - 2.6GHz make any performance difference, or should I not do it at all?

If its stock cooling you should not do it

All I have is air vents (2) on each side of my case, taking up about 2/3 of the sides, there's a fan on the back, and there's a vent on the front taking up half of the front.

Is that OK?

EDIT: There's cold air coming out of the front vent.

I'm pretty sure you need some form of water cooling to overclock.

You don't need water cooling, but it's highly suggested.
You will most likely burn up your processor if you do that.

I didn't want to overclock it a lot.
Just a little bit.

You need a good aftermarket cooler for it, doesn't matter if its air or not.

Also since you don't know that you need good cooling I doubt you know how to overclock the processor and should stay away from it

I'll just take your advice.
