Author Topic: Why, Windows XP?  (Read 1797 times)

Well, I'm glad you were nice that day, but apparently, all it needed was a restart. I woke up this morning, turned it on, and the theme reappeared again.

And,
why did you have a screenshot of the XPTheme if it changed. How would've you know this would happen.

I went to right click [Whatever its called bar below]>Properties>Taskbar> took snapshot of the example.

Finally, I'm not planning on talking like dis again, mon. Anyways, thanks guys. Locking.

EDIT: Dang. Turns out my dad fixed it last night...ah well. HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!

Okay, never mind then, does anyone who is smart with computer stuff also use your computer?

RIGHT CLICK DESKTOP
hit PROPERTIES
hit APPEARANCE
CUSTOMIZE
PRESS OK

you can change it to whatever you want.

Well, my dad's pretty smart with a computer.

Also: Strange. I was off the computer for a while, [took a break] and when I came back on and started playing, the task bar is the same theme [Windows XP] but the windows and buttons are different. [Windows Classic].

Ask him if he used a uxpatcher.

Well, I tried toxthree's method,
Go into your C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes directory and look for a folder called "Luna" and a theme file also called "Luna", if they are both there double-click the theme file and it should rectify your problem.

and an error message pops up:

Quote from: Error Loading Theme Message
The theme could not be loaded because the theme service is not running. You can turn the service on in the Computer Management Administrative Tool in the Control Panel.

File: C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Luna.theme

Wat to do?

Your computer is broken, I would advise a virus scan

your typing makes me want to punch you in the face.

1. You're not cool for talking like that

2. Uninstall Roblox.

3. Change theme via control panel

Unfortunately, if you be "getting off the computer for awhile"... Why you have IE and Desktop on XPTheme and Roblox, Chrome and Firefox (And some others) on the ClassicTheme.

What?

The first one was most likely a picture from e.g. Google to show which theme he was actually talking about and to show the change when it becomes the Classic one.

Yes, only in silver.

And ATM, I'm doing a virus scan to see if my computer is infected.

This is a common problem that you get when you try to install UXthemepatcher on a copy of Windows XP Service Pack 2 or 3.

I suggest you get the compatable version of UXthemepatcher
