Computer advice

Well, I'm building a new computer, I just wanted to make sure with people who know more than me that I've done everything right
Here's what I plan on getting. (I've got the case and everything, all measured right)

CPU: AMD ATHLON II Quad Core 3ghz
Mobo: DDR3, SATA 3gb/s
RAM: Samsung 4GB (2x2) DDR3
Graphics: Radeon HD 5770

Am I bottlenecking in any areas? Also note I'm paying for all of this, so try to keep the prices down.

If it's possible, I'd highly recommend changing your processor to an Intel and changing your graphics card to an NVIDIA.

I chose Radeon because they're much cheaper, as for the Intel, I'll see what it costs.

Edit: A Quad Core 3ghz Intel CPU will make it cost waaaay more than I have

They are much cheaper, true, however you're getting a lower quality card. The same goes for Intel vs. AMD.

When I switched AMD to Intel the price shot up from £525 to £700(I had the change the mobo, but it's still Quad Core 3ghz) which doesn't seem worth it.

Intel is much more expensive than AMD, yes, but Intel is greatly more high quality than AMD. If price is a concern for you, then go with AMD, but if you can spare the extra money, Intel is a much better choice.

I can't spare the cash, I would choose Nvidia over ATI any day, I'd choose Intel over AMD any day, but I'm more economy minded atm.

Back to the actual question, is the processor bottlenecking the GPU, and vice versa.

You'd need to tell us an actual model number, but most likely no.

Anyway, what you were saying was true for the most part you make it sound like that just because AMD's processors and video cards are cheaper means they are of poor quality.

It's not so much that because they're cheap they are poor quality, rather that because they're lower quality, they're cheaper.
