Camtasia has a free 30 day trial but I don't know of any good, free recorders. I use a legally purchased Fraps.

VHScrCap+Flash Media Encoder, but it's a real pain to set up and I'm not ever sue if VHScrCap is available anymore.

BBFlash Express is a good desktop recorder, so if you run Blockland in windowed mode its a good free choice (requires free email activation though). But you'll have to tweak the settings around to get a good video recorder quality, and it exports in FLV.
