Author Topic: Help! My cat is crushing me!  (Read 2436 times)

He's been in a mood tonight, sitting with my sister all weird. He came up behind me, so I set up his spot next to me. Next thing I know, he's crawling onto my lap. He curled up against me and he's... too comfy to just push off. But I'm starting to feel crushed. What can I do?!

:panda: Chrono, this is a serious matter! My cat is crushing me and there's no option I could utilize that wouldn't give me MASSIVE Dark Side points for going through with.

You're able to type. You have an arm free.

Use that arm to pick up the cat, and place it somewhere else.

It's not like that. Yes, my arms are free, but he's all curled against my stomach. He was purring when he sat down. He's too cute to simply shove off, pick up, or anything. I think he's lonely, because he NEVER does this...

I don't want to be mean. :panda:

I move my cat. He doesn't see it as something mean. He gets the hint that I don't want him on me. So he lays down beside me and then I give him the attention he wants.

Lay in the cat's lap.

Even for a 127 pound, 6'2" 17 year old boy, I'd definitely hurt him. Anyway, serious? D:

But he NEVER EVER sits on my lap. D: This is a special moment. And my ass hurts, to be perfectly blunt.

*I'm losing bloodflow to my foot

Edit2: I just put him back next to me... But he got up, looking insulted, and walked away... I think I ruined the moment(s). :panda:

I hate getting my cat off my lap aswell haha. I always feel mean.

Well, he came back and meowed. I set him next to me. He tried to climb back on my lap, I blocked him... he looked at me with almost teary eyes and walked away.

He came back again, I didn't even put him next to me. He found a way around the chair, and is now sitting behind me in it.

Try and set him up some blankets which you don't mind getting fur on and lead him to it. If he sits on it stroke him and hopefully he will get your message.

he just wants some lovee

That's what we usually do, and there's where he usually sits. I've been trying to keep him on the blankets, but he'd rather be with me.

Well, my cat's crawling all over my desk as well now.

So just swallow your pride, and accept his love. I'm sure that no circulation in your legs is good for your health
