Well guys, I want all of you, if possible, to watch SyFy channel at 9:00 EST (Eastern Standard Time) tonight. Ghost Hunters is doing an investigation right in my backyard. They are investigating the home of Mark Twain in Hartford, Connecticut. I am really excited about watching this to see if the ghost hunters can find information to solidify one of my personal experiences that went like this:
My LA-A (Language arts class A, AKA Honors Language arts) class went to Hartford to see the Mark Twain house, as we had just read a few of his books, among them Tom Sawyer. We walked up a large sloping green to the house to meet our guide. The guide introduced himself as Harry, and he led us to a small paved path to the house. I looked to my right and on a balcony, I saw a young woman standing, looking down at me. I tapped my friend on the shoulder, pointing so he could see her. He saw her, his eyes widened, and she walked back into the house through a solid door. (without opening the door at all!) I quickly walked up to the guide and asked "Is there anyone in the house right now?" "Nobody but the statues." He replied. I later learned that one of Twain's daughters died in the house, and this woman looked just about the right age. I have never told anyone else about this, for fear of being called insane.
That's why I want you guys to watch this. I want you guys to help me out and see if you can see anything vaguely similar (a teenage girl in late 1800's dress). I need more than two eyes for this, and I would be glad if you guys could help.
