Author Topic: Computer Suddenly Slow...  (Read 1355 times)

Yeah, my 3 computer expert friends say otherwise.
If you are using up to like 50% or more of your hard drive, it tends to start to slow down a tad.
Well I'm pretty sure that it only has an effect if you have a small amount of ram. I don't think the op does, because he's playing Crysis. I'm not a computer expert so I'm probably wrong but oh well.

You must construct additional pylons

Same here, but it just suddenly went away as soon as it came.

I only had 1 virus and removing it didn't fix it.

Considering the disk in the hard drive is spinning constantly, when a file needs to be read or modified, the read/write head could be at any random spot which gives an equal chance for the file to be found.

It's a little different when files are fragmented, because then it has to find the file in the FAT.

same but my pc is still here. right???

the antivirus is slowing your pc down.  :cookieMonster:

Maybe blow the dust out of it?
